Green Area Workshops
Be sure to drift into our healing garden either just to soak up the vibe or experience some of the demonstrations and workshops on offer.
This year will see some new workshops in the Green Area. Come along and be Inspired in the Vamos Art Studio Space where you can create a masterpiece and learn some Art Skills along the way to be Auctioned for The Nepal Earthquake Fund on Sunday Afternoon. Great fun had by all in Creating and Selling For a Great Charity.
Come and try your hand at traditional crafts and learn some new skills such as woodcarving and wool spinning. Handcraft your own willow or sea grass decorations , make a mat or a Reet Neet Seat . Or produce a beautiful bunch of brightly coloured long lasting wooden flowers.:)
Back by popular demand the lovely Cowley's with their fine foods and earth oven cooking demonstrations. Feast your senses on a historical natural food preservation demo and learn how to build an earth oven.
You can also join the amazing team at Natural England's Space and learn about the beautiful and diverse area that surrounds our lovely site and in Cumbria..Join the gang for the much adored Mini Beast Hunt in the Healing Garden Haven.:)
There was also lots of fab smells from a couple of cooking workshops and demonstrations taking place with an earth oven be built and camp cooking took place in the dedicated part of the arena. There was also natural and historical food preservation demonstrations and workshops for you to try!
This will be a fantastic area to spend some time in and will offer a different experience to music and shopping!

Also as an addition to last year make sure you visit this space once the light fades as it will take on a totally different magical and dramatic atmosphere by night with fire shows lighting up the sky!
As well as these workshops there will be a whole host of Healers on offer for you to take advantage of again this year so why not take some well-earned time out to relax and enjoy one of the treatments available.
In addition to the therapies that are normally on offer Uma Kadampa Buddhists will be bringing their shrine space and lead several daily guided meditations. There will also be a couple of daily yoga classes in this space too. Check onto the area to find out timings.
We will also have a Shamanic Healer leading spirit journeys, pipe ceremonies and animal spirit healing. There will be some chakra, crystal and angel healing therapies on offer too that might just re-energise you!
So stop by this area and give them some time, at the very least give yourself some time in the Healing Garden – a wonderful space that gives you time to reflect and enjoy views over the Solway. You never know you might just feel better for it!
