Handy Solfest pronunciation guide!

When booking your train or bus ticket, "Aspatria" (known locally as 'Spyatri) is correctly pronounced thus:

The first 'A' is like the 'A' in "Cat".

The second 'A' is like the 'A' in "Day"

The third 'A' is like the 'A' in "Cat"

So now you know!

Aspatria for pre and post festival needs:

J Bouch, Grocer. 26 King Street.

“Beer, Wines and Spirits at discount prices”

C Bouch, Newsagent and Fruiterer, 12 Market Square.

“Owt you want, we’ve got!”
