I sent a CD in for Dead Man's Hand from Lancaster. I must just say we saw these guys in Lancaster at their annual music festival in October and all I could think of was this band has got to play Solfest. They work the crowd brilliantly and the CD does not do them justice because it does not let you hear how they really work the crowd and get a fantastic atmosphere going. I totally recommend them for 2016 and guarantee you will really want to ask them back for the following year. They will also bring their followers from Lancaster with them which will also guarantee good ticket sales. I ask you to please consider them you will not be disappointed. Thanks x

Been to all the solfests but just wanted to say how disappointing last year was.

We paid full price as previous years for less entertainment and no main stage with headline acts, not coming back this year as with a lot of other people.

Waited 2hours just to get in on the Friday, atmosphere was not the same and did not like the boom boom area where the main stage was as you could here that when bands were on in the tent.

Come on organisers give us value for money or reduce ticket prices as you saw from last year a lot of empty spaces

There are lots of festivals out there that will take your music loving punters if the organizers of solfest don't get your act together and arrange your line up before March. I genuinely loved this festival when the main stage was there and last year was a great disappointment music wise and that's what music lovers of their festival want, to come back again and be impressed with the line up and atmosphere and they are in no hesitation to buy the next years tickets. Fingers crossed you pull it out the bag for this year. good luck xxx

    BRING BACK SPANISH CHURROS!!!!

Previous years I enjoyed the full lineup and selection of food and souvenirs, whereas this year only a few bands stood out to me and they were hidden inside the bar stage or drystone wall. As with the food and souvenirs at many stalls i found the the same items, this was disappointing as other times I found a wide range of exotic foods and gifts. Solfest needs reviving...bring back CHURROS...and the main stage!??????

I love this festival especially on Saturdays when everyone has the opportunity to get your glad rags on and join in on the fancy dress party. I wonder what the theme will be this year, it will be great to see people having fun see you at Solfest 2016 xxx

It was our family's first time at Solfest last year and we loved it! The only issue we had was with only finding room in the noisy area on the Friday and a group causing trouble and too much noise(who were subsequently removed by securuty). From Saturday to Sunday it was fab. Hoping to come back this year and get there on Thursday to find a more appropriate camping space. Look forward to hearing what you have in store for us!
