Playing exclusively at Solfest as part of his 2012 world tour, this could be your only chance to see him on UK soil. Solfest's House of Joy is once again back after a fantastic reception last year. Cumbria's finest JAMbEATER Soundsystem will be bringing some of the best Reggae, Ska, Roots, Dub and Rocksteady to a small field in Cumbria. The place to have a feel good skank to a mix of live bands and DJs including Jinx n Dub, Bad Transmission, Nucleus Roots and The Bushrocker HiFi!

We are delighted to announce the final list of acts playing the main stage for 2012. First off is one of our headliners, The Waterboys. Mike Scott and the band are one of the best live acts around. We are also pleased to present rock and blues band Saint Jude, quickly building a reputation for great songs and live performances. A welcome return to Solfest for one of the most entertaining and hard working bands around - Louis Barabbas & the Bedlam Six and Cumbrian band Tarras follow up their appearance on the Drystone a couple of years ago with a main stage slot. Yes Sir Boss are a band to look out for , Fiona Clayton played last year with roomful of owls and rounding up this line up are the lovely vocals and instrumentation of West Cumbrian band Kitchie Wud
